Harvey C. Myers, 61, of Saranac Lake, died Sunday morning at [[Saranac%20Lake%20General%20Hospital|Saranac Lake General Hospital]] where he had been a patient since Dec. 2.

A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion. He had been a taxi driver for [[Hoyt's%20Taxi|Hoyt's Taxi]] Service. He was born Nov. 4, 1909 to Brooklyn, a son of Harvey M. and Inger Arnzen Myers.

Survivors are: two sons, Harvey C. Jr. of Saranac Lake and William H. of Binghamton; two daughters, Mrs. Gail Granger of Auburn and Miss Dorothy Myers of San Francisco; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Alice Bulrice of Anaheim, Calif, and a brother, Milton H. of Hot Springs, Ark.

Friends may call at the [[Fortune%20Funeral%20Home|Fortune Funeral Home]] where there will be a service at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday with the Rev. [[Daniel%20Partridge|Daniel Partridge]] officiating. Burial will be in May in [[Pine%20Ridge%20Cemetery|Pine Ridge Cemetery]].
