<span>SARANAC LAKE - Arthur Niederbuhl, 78, of 6 Brookside Ave., Plymouth, Mass., and a former resident here, died Thursday morning in Plymouth.

<span>Mr. Niederbuhl was born in Brooklyn, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Niederbuhl.

<span>He is survived by his wife, the former Lorraine Peck of Plymouth.

<span>His first wife, [[Clara%20Niederbhul|Clara]], died in 1954.

<span>Also surviving are a son, Arthur of [[Bloomingdale|Bloomingdale]]; a sister, Elizabeth Seegar of Lindenhurst; two nieces, Betty McGraw and Amelia Lang, and six grandchildren, He was a resident of Plymouth for 10 years and a resident of Saranac Lake for 40 years. He was chief buyer for [[Grand%20Union|Grand Union]] food stores until his retirement in 1927 due to illness.

<span>Mr. Niederbuhl was a member of the [[Last%20Man's%20Club|Last Man's Club]] in Saranac Lake and a Navy veteran of World War I.

<span>Friends may call at the [[Fortune%20Funeral%20Home|Fortune Funeral Home]] 7 to 9 p.m. today and a Bible vigil is scheduled for 8 p.m. today.

<span>A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at [[St.%20Bernard's%20Church|St. Bernard's Church]].

<span>Interment will be in [[St.%20Bernard's%20Cemetery|St, Bernard's Cemetery]] in May.

<span>Friends wishing to remember Mr. Niederbuhl may make donations to their favorite charity.
