The [[Trudeau%20Institute|Trudeau Institute]]'s Board of Trustees has elected Benjamin Brewster chairman of the board and Maury Pages vice chairman. The election came during the board's semiannual meeting at the institute's Saranac Lake facility.<br><br>A managing director at Silvercrest Asset Management Group in Charlottesville, Va., Brewster has been a Trudeau Institute trustee since 1993 and has been serving as vice chairman since 2007.<br><br>Brewster's family has been associated with the Trudeau Institute for a century, and he is the third generation to sit on the institute's Board of Trustees. His father, Edward C. Brewster, worked with Dr. [[Frank%20Trudeau|Francis B. Trudeau Jr.]] to transition the institute from a tuberculosis sanitarium and research facility to its current status as a world-class medical-research center. Edward's father, George S. Brewster (a contemporary of institute founder Dr. [[E.%20L.%20Trudeau|E. L. Trudeau]]), served on the board of the institute's predecessor, the [[Adirondack%20Cottage%20Sanitarium|Adirondack Cottage Sanitarium]] (later the Trudeau Sanatorium).<br><br>Brewster and his wife, Antoinette, reside in Charlottesville.
