Charles E. Park, 61, of 219 Broadway, Saranac Lake, died Saturday evening at [[Saranac%20Lake%20General%20Hospital|Saranac Lake General Hospital]].

Mr. Park had worked for the  American Brakeshoe Co. in Rochester until his retirement. He was born March 26. 1908 in Arkley, a son of Edwin C. and Maude Park.

Survivors are; his wife, Elsie Symonds Park; a son, Edwin C. of Saranac Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Redding and Mrs. Adelaide LesSord of Rochester; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the [[Fortune%20Funeral%20Home|Fortune Funeral Home]] beginning this evening. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. [[Lester%20Loder|Lester Loder]], pastor of the [[Bloomingdale%20Methodist%20Church|Bloomingdale Methodist Church]], officiating. Burial will be in [[Gabriels%20Cemetery|Gabriels Cemetery]].
