Clark's Delivery is undoubtedly the hottest softball team in the local circuit. They polished off the Roofers, 11-3, last night for their sixth straight win. On the string, the Deliverymen have tabbed 87 runs and held their opponents to 30. 

They have Oldfield on the mound, a solid infield, Finn leading the Outfielders and something no other team can boast—depth. 

In giving credit to the Softball league, plaudits should be given to [[Ed%20LaPlante|Ed LaPlante]] and Fritz Ohmann whose base umpiring is without a doubt an asset to the league and we've observed that the score-keeper medals for efficiency and neatness belong to [[Bill%20Daunais|Bill Daunais]].
