Mrs. Doris Begor Stickney of [[Bloomingdale|Bloomingdale]] was notified that her husband, Pfc. Ellsworth Stickney has been missing in Germany since Dec. 3.

 

<span>Pfc. Stickney had been overseas since last August.  He was awarded the Silver Star for heroism during the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_France|Battle of France]] but his family never learned the reasons.
