'''Frank Knight, Jr.''' retired as advertising manager for home movies at Eastman Kodak in Rochester around 1957.

His family included his wife, Elizabeth (Betsy) Knight and two sons:  Frank Knight III and Lane Knight.  Frank Knight passed away around 1972; his wife passed away in the early eighties.

The property is divided by [[Alder%20Brook|Alder Brook]].  The half with the house was willed to Lane Knight who continued to live there until his death around 2006; the other half was willed to Frank Knight III who sold his half a few years later.

Frank Knight operated a Christmas tree farm on the property for a number of years.  He was active in the Saranac Lake branch of the Red Cross as was his wife.  He also was on the board of the [[Onchiota%20school|Onchiota school]].

He wrote a book on creating home movies titled "Home movies made easy" and wrote a mystery novel that was never published.
