As a result of the merger of the General Ice Cream Co., and the [[Eastern%20Dairies|Eastern Dairies]] Inc., both of which concerns distributed ice cream in Saranac Lake, a combination had been effected in the local management. [[Max%20Cohen|Max Cohen]], who had been manager of the Eastern Dairies here for some time, had taken over the Saranac Lake management of the combined organizations. [[Richard%20Elliott|Richard Elliott]] who had been local manager for the General Ice Cream Co. was being transferred to the Watertown plant.
