'''Jean Harriett (Kelley) Mace-Walton '''was born <span style="">at [[Harrietstown|Harrietstown]], New York to Judd and Carrie (Moody) Kelley.  She graduated from [[Saranac%20Lake%20High%20School|Saranac Lake High School]] in 1930.   She loved her Saranac Lake roots and always told stories about her grandparents Robert and Alice (Paye) Moody.

After the death of her son Phelps F. Mace, Jr., she moved to Texas to live near her daughter-in-law and grandchildren.  She was a wonderful volunteer in the town-even earning Citizen of the Year.

She passed away  and is buried at the Burkburnett Cemetery in Burkburnett, Texas.
