'''Leo C. Furlong '''

Leo C. Furlong, of Vermontille, died at 3 p. m. Saturday it Saranac Lake General Hospital at the age of 61. He had been a patient at the hospital since Wednesday.

Mr. Furlong had been a maintenance carpenter at the Lake Placid Club. He was born Feb. 6, 1908 in Lyon Mt., a son of William and Margaret LaBrake Furlong. He was a corporal in the Air Force in World War II.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Susan Sochia of Schenectady, and two brothers, William of Vermontville and Frank of Burke.

The funeral was held at 10 i. m. today at [[St.%20Paul's%20Church|St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church]] in [[Bloomingdale|Bloomingdale]] with the Rev. [[F.%20C.%20McMahon|F. C. McMahon]] officiating. Interment was in [[St.%20Paul%20's%20Cemetery|St. Paul 's Cemetery]].
