'''Lillian Vanderveer '''(sometimes mistakenly written as Vandeveer or Vanderver, later Albrecht), aka "Lillie" was a teacher at the [[Baldwin%20School|Baldwin School]] in the early 1900s-1910s. She lived with her mother Charlotte, and at least two brothers, [[Harold%20Vanderveer|Harold]] and George, at [[53%20Dorsey%20Street|53 Dorsey Street]] for at least a decade. She married Ira Werner Albrecht in 1924, and later became a children's librarian at the Westfield Athenaum in Massachusetts. While working there, she created a doll persona and used it to write books about local history.<sup>1</sup>
