'''Marshall Ward Miller''' was a son of [[Ensine%20Miller|Ensine Miller]] and [[Narcissa%20Baker%20Miller|Narcissa Baker Miller]]. After his mother's death, his father married her sister, [[Julia%20A.%20Miller|Julia A. Miller]], who is believed to have named [[Marshall%20Street|Marshall Street]] for him in the lands she later inherited from her husband, Ensine Miller, and developed as Villa Sites. 

Marshall lost [[Pliny%20Miller|Pliny Miller]]'s [[Pliny%20Miller%27s%20Sawmill%20and%20Gristmill|sawmill]] to foreclosure in 1879.
