SARANAC LAKE — A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at [[St.%20Bernard%27s%20Church|St. Bernard's Church]] for Mildred LaPan, 69, who died Tuesday at [[Saranac%20Lake%20General%20Hospital|Saranac Lake General Hospital]]. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. 

Friends may call at the [[Keough%20and%20Son%20Memorial%20Chapels|Keough and Son Memorial Chapels]], beginning Friday afternoon. A Scriptural Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. 

Mrs. LaPan was born in Watertown, a daughter of Frederick and Teresa Hoffer Johnson. She was educated in Watertown and graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy with a music background, specializing in piano. She had been an accompanist with several orchestras and chorales in the Watertown area. 

On May 28, 1932, she was married to [[James%20H.%20LaPan|James H. LaPan]] by Msgr. Creedon in Holy Family Church in Watertown. 

She had lived in Saranac Lake for 42 years. Her home was at [[14%20Forest%20Hill%20Avenue|14 Forest Hill Avenue]]. Surviving are her husband and a son, John LaPan of Boston. 

Her family requests that friends wishing to remember Mrs. LaPan make contributions to Saranac Lake General Hospital.
