Saranac Lake— Minnie Wray Hickok, 85, of [[Bloomingdale|Bloomingdale]], died Friday, evening March 5, 1976, at the [[Saranac%20Lake%20General%20Hospital|Saranac Lake General Hospital]].

She was born April 18, 1890 in Mooers Forks, the daughter of Emery and Carrie (Cokley) Downs. Her husband, Roger, predeceased her in 1945, also, a son, Gaylord Wray in 1968.

She is survived by a son, Robert, of [[Saranac%20Inn|Saranac Inn]]; a sister, Hazel Bendon, of Stillwater, N.Y.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was a resident of Bloomingdale for over 50 years and operated Hickok's Boat Livery at Fish Creek for many years.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, March 8, 1976, at the [[Fortune%20Funeral%20Home|Fortune Funeral Home]].

Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Mooers Forks in May.
