While they are not individually identified, among the veterans shown are "Comrades [[Warren%20Flanders|Flanders]]|, Peck, Walker, Foster, Shea, Baker, [[David%20G.%20Cronk|Cronk]]|, Munn, Segua, Paye, McNulty, Blinn, Hatch, [[Lewis%20P.%20Daniels|Daniels]]|, [[Wallace%20Slater|Slater]]|, Hathaway and Morton." The late [[Betty%20Pratt|Betty Pratt]]|, a volunteer in the [[Adirondack%20Collection|Adirondack Collection]]| of the [[Saranac%20Lake%20Free%20Library|Saranac Lake Free Library]]|, made an extensive study of local Civil War veterans in 2001. Her typescript lists the names of all the men whose service was documented from any source, including gravestones and census records. From this we can learn the first names of some of those listed, including [[Henry%20McNulty|Henry McNulty]]|, whose service record notes that he was "away in the woods." Bull Post''', was an organization of [[Civil%20War|Civil War]] veterans from Saranac Lake and Lake Placid.  It was named for [[Francis%20M.%20Bull|Francis M. Bull]].  An adjunct organization for women was called the Women's Relief Corps.  The earliest mention in local newspapers is from 1897.  It disbanded in the 1930s.

G. A. R. veterans and friends from Saranac Lake and Lake Placid will gather here tomorrow to observe Memorial Day services under the auspices of the local relief corps. 

Less than a dozen veterans remain to answer the roll call of survivors. The brief roll of the inter-village F. M. Bull Post 621 reads: [[C.%20S.%20Gay|C. S. Gay]], [[Wallace%20Slater|Wallace Slater]], [[Joseph%20LaMoy|Joseph LaMoy]], [[Henry%20McNulty|Henry McNulty]], Henry Allen, [[Henry%20Somers|Henry Somers]], [[M.%20N.%20LaMoy|M. N. LaMoy]], [[Hiram%20Hathaway|Hiram Hathaway]], [[Peter%20Segua|Peter Segua]], [[Edward%20Riley|Edward Riley]], [[Edward%20Otis|Edward Otis]], [[Joseph%20Merrill|Joseph Merrill]], [[G.%20W.%20Mussen|G. W. Mussen]], [[Warren%20Flanders|Warren Flanders]], [[Lewis%20P.%20Daniels|Lewis P. Daniels]], and [[Charles%20Dwight|Charles Dwight]]. 

They will be met as a body at the railroad station by the local [[W.%20H.%20LaMoy%20Relief%20Corps|W. H. LaMoy Relief Corps]] and the Lake Placid band. Dinner will be served at noon at the Methodist Church followed by a patriotic service. At the conclusion of the service an interim of social discourse will be enjoyed, and a supper will be served at 5:30 preceding the departure of the visiting veterans and friends.
