<span>LAKE PLACID) — Mrs. Rita Floyd-Jones, 74, of 35 Mirror Lake drive, died Tuesday evening at Placid Memorial Hospital.

<span>Mrs. Floyd-Jones was born June 8, 1905 in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of John and Mary McDougald McMartin. Her husband, Roy A. died in 1964.

<span>Surviving are a son, Peter LeMay of Lake Clear, a daughter, Mrs. J. Walter (Barbara) Howby of Washington; D.C., and one granddaughter.

<span>Mrs. Floyd-Jones had been a resident of this area since the 1940's. For some time she lived at Camp Massapequa on Lower Saranac Lake, but moved to Lake Placid 14 years ago.

<span>There will be no calling hours.

<span>A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 9:30 .m. today (Feb. 21) at [[St.%20Bernard's%20Church|St. Bernard's Church]], Saranac Lake, with the Rev. Philip Allen, of St. Agnes Church, Lake Placid, officiating. Interment will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery, Montreal.
