Sewell F. Bunker, who had been a painter in this area for 46 years, died early Saturday evening at his home, [[104%20Main%20Street|104 Main St]]., Saranac Lake.

Mr. Bunker was a World War I veteran. He was born April 26, 1898, in [[Bloomingdale|Bloomingdale]], a son of Charles L. and Catherine Paye Bunker.

Survivors are his wife, the former Bertha Denton; a daughter, Mrs. [[Ray%20LaRose|Raymond LaRose]], and a brother, Sidney Bunker, all of Saranac Lake. A great aunt; Mrs. Jack Flynn of [[Gabriels|Gabriels]], also survives.

<span>Friends may call at the [[Keough%20and%20Son%20Memorial%20Chapel|Keough and Son Memorial Chapel]] from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p. m. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at [[St.%20Luke's%20Church|St. Luke's Church]] with the rector, the Rev. [[Peter%20O.%20W.%20Hill|Peter O. W. Hill]], officiating. Cremation will be at the Gardner-Earle Crematory in Troy.
