BROTHER OF PERU WOMEN IS BURIED

Alfred H. Otis, veteran Paul Smiths guide, died Sunday night at his home in that community at the age of 81. His death removes the last of the six Otis brothers two of whom were Civil War veterans.

Surviving are two sons, Harry and Arthur of Paul Smiths; three sisters, [[Polly S. Otis|Mrs. Mary McLaughlin]], 93, of Malone, [[Emma Otis|Mrs. Emma Durgan]], 75, of Peru, and [[Annette Otis|Mrs. Nettie Bailey]] of Peru.

The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from Brighton.
