The funeral service will be held Tuesday at St. Bernard’s Church with a Mass of Resurrection at 11:15 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy Chambers officiating. Interment will be in [[St. Bernard’s Cemetery]]. SARANAC LAKE — Lawrence J. Beseth died February 26 at his residence at [[27 Bloomingdale Avenue|27 Bloomingdale Ave]]. He had been a resident since 1914.

He was born in Liberty, April 27, 1888, the son of Michael Beseth and Elizabeth Abplanalp. He was a carpenter and had worked at Trudeau Sanatorium for many years.

He was married to the late [[Ella Beseth|Ella Morgan]] by Father John Waters in [[St. Bernard’s Church]] on Oct. 18, 1915.

He is survived by two daughters: Miss Muriel Beseth and Mrs. Phyllis DeFuria both of Saranac Lake; one brother, George of Liberty; two sisters: Mrs. Edwin (Lillian) Finch and Mrs. Raymond (Marceline) Evans of Upper Derby, Pa.; Two grandsons: Lewis and Barry DeFuria, and three great-grandchildren.
