Paul Parsons grew up in Bloomingdale and graduated from Saranac Lake High School. He owned the Parsons Camp on Upper Saranac Lake, that was built by his father.
Entered into rest on February 16, 2021, at the age of 83. He was born in Saranac Lake, New York on April 14, 1937 the son of Perry Parsons and Esther Eberhardt Parsons. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Evelyn Parsons; daughter, Beth Segel; and son, John Parsons.
He is survived by his son, David (Sarah) Parsons of Victor, New York; grandchildren, Michael Parsons, Christopher Parsons, Allison Segel, and Todd Segel; as well as sister-in-law, Karen Parsons; many beloved nieces and nephews.
He grew up in the town of Bloomingdale, New York, graduating from Saranac Lake High School, where he was active in sports and social activities. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Syracuse University where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He worked at Carborundum and Bell Aerospace before joining Xerox Corporation in Rochester, where he retired from in 1998.
Paul loved life and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He brightened the day of all those he touched with his friendly smile, laugh, and sincere care for others.
Calling Hours on Monday, from 4-6 PM, at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road in Fairport. Paul's Funeral Service on Tuesday, at 1 PM, in the White Haven Memorial Park All Seasons Chapel.
