It was the home to school superintendent Howard V. Littel from 1945 to 1948.

It was a great house, with more rooms than we knew what to do with. The now-enclosed stone porch had no windows back then; I remember having to shovel it in the winter. Our next door neighbors were the Ratigans (Frank became mayor a few years later).
Starting in 1969, this was home to Ted and Dorothy Reichart and their family.
