SARANAC LAKE — A memorial service will be held for Bertha H. Stickney, 84, of Howes Cave, who died at the home of her niece earlier this year.

She was born on May 14, 1907, the daughter of August and Mary (Bauman) Homburger. She was the widow of Jay T. Stickney.

Survivors include a step-son, Jay T. Stickney, Jr. and several step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The service will be held at the Pine Ridge Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 1992 with the Rev. David Strong officiating. Fortune-Keough Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
