Ida Mannhart Chadikian came to Saranac Lake in 1926 to seek treatment for tuberculosis. She met and married Boghos Chadikian and emigrated to New Rochelle, New York. They had six children. Her name appears on a TB Society White Card from January 9, 1926, which listed her address at the time as St. Mary's Hospital. She eventually succumbed to the disease and died in New Rochelle.
