Mrs. Clementine Hanmer

SARANAC LAKE - Mrs. Clementine V. Hanmer, formerly of 91 Broadway, died Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Alice Hyde Hospital in Malone.

She was born Feb. 17, 1886 in Polycarp, Canada, the daughter of Hilary and Emily (Belanger) Gauthier. Her husband, Truman, is deceased.

A niece, Yvonne Laurin of Montreal, Canada, survives.

Mrs. Hanmer had been a cook at private camps in this area until her retirement.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held this morning at 10, with the Rev. Roland Laurin officiating.

Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Tupper Lake in May.
