Sydney Barnard, proprietor of the largest general store at Bloomingdale, is still confined to his room at the Crystal Spring House. About two weeks ago Dr. W. Church performed a surgical operation on his leg. Mr. Barnard's many friends in the northern part of the county will be pleased to learn that he is improving. His mother, Mrs. N. W. Barnard, of Bellmont, is staying with him.
