Suzanne G. Bouffon Joyeuse, a resident of Saranac Lake, will be laid to rest on April 9, 2021, in Arlington National Cemetery where her husband, Rene, a WWII spy for the allies, is buried. The couple met in Paris where Suzanne was a nurse and Rene a medical student. They married in Washington, D.C., and lived in the U.S. throughout their 57-year marriage. Suzanne worked as a surgical nurse at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, while Rene earned his master's degree in surgery.
