Year built: 1910.
Other information: A boardinghouse-style cure cottage with a veranda spanning the southeast side, the western side of which is glass-enclosed. There are two surviving cure porches, and evidence of more that have been removed.


The house was built by a Mr. Buck. It was registered as a private sanatorium operated as a boarding cottage by Mrs. Dorothy Witherspoon from 1923 to 19


28. She was assisted by Miss Andrews and Miss Wilson in 1927, and by Mrs. Fannie Ballae in 1928. Mrs. Witherspoon held a [Administration] contract beginning in 1923, which was true of 45 other cottages at the time.
