RETURNS FROM FAR EAST

First Lt. Frank A. Bermingham, son of Mrs. F. A. Bermingham, of this village, docked today in San Francisco aboard the transport Sgt. Howard Woodford. He is among 1,296 Army veterans returning from the Far East.

FIRST LIEUTENANT Franklin A. Birmingham [sic], son of Mrs. F. A. Birmingham, former Saranac Lake resident now living in California, is attending an artillery fire control systems course at Fort Bliss, Tex, He graduated from the Saranac Lake High School in 1942 and attended Clarkson College of Technology before entering the Army in January, 1951.
