SARANAC LAKE — William Leo Buckley died Wednesday afternoon at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington following a brief illness.
Mr. Buckley had been a salesman at Everett's Store for 58 years and following his retirement Worked at Liquor Store on Broadway. He made his home at McClelland St.
He was born in Saranac Lake on Aug, 11, 1903, the son of and Winifred Teckham.
He was a member third degree of Knights of Columbus Council 599, and a member and Faithful. Navigator of Bishop Gabriels General Assembly fourth degree Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his sister, Finning of Saranac Lake; his niece, Mrs. Del Oldfield; two great-nieces, Dorothy and Maureen Oldfield and one great-nephew, John Oldfield.
He is reposing at Chapel where friends may call Thursday evening and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
There will be a Knights of Columbus Service and Bible Vigil Friday evening at 8 p.m. There will be a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
