Pine Point boathouse, 2014

Pine Point is a small point in Gull Bay on Upper Saranac Lake . It was the site of Pine Point Lodge, the camp of the Emma Bucknell family.

It was later owned by Col. S. P. Wetherill; other residents included Frank Hathaway.

In 1990, the original camp was torn down and replaced by a new 2100 square foot building.  The original boathouse, built in the 1890s, remains.
