2008
1984

Address: 2030 New York Route 86

Old Address: Harrietstown Road

Year built: about 1920

Other information: The cottage has a two-story hexagonal tower with a solarium, and two cure porches. The house was bought by James MacIntyre and Mary Elizabeth Hart in 1922. [The National Register nomination (see link) states that the cottage was purchased by George Hart about 1921 for his niece Mary MacIntyre, who was suffering from tuberculosis.]

The cottage was later the home of Bill and Judy Butterfield, teachers in Saranac Lake school system.
