Lloyd A. Stott was a [War II veteran].  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Stott of Lake Colby.

LE ROY — Lloyd A. Stott, 70, of Le Roy and formerly of Saranac Lake, died Friday, July 30, 1993 at his home after a massive heart attack.

Born April 8,1923 in Canada, he was the son of Lawrence and Caroline (Thompson) Stott.

He was a reared machinist from Rochester Products, and was a base officer at Le Roy Volunteer Ambulance. A World War II and Korean Air Force veteran, he was a member of the Batavia Senior Citizens and the Stafford Historical Society.

A researcher interested in nostalgia, he was known in Le Roy as Wiz the Clown, entertaining at senior citizens' centers, nursing homes and children's wards.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Marcia Stott of Le Roy, two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Strong and Mrs. Gladd, both of Saranac Lake; a grandson, Andrew Sulatycky; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held in Le Roy.  Memorial donations may be made to the Le Roy Volunteer Ambulance Fund.
