Trout Plentiful In Weekend Catch
Several fishermen with sunburned hands and nothing else won't agree, but "Pete" Higgins claims fishing over the weekend was very good.
Higgins' store, official weighing station for the Club and State fishing contests, nearly turned into a fish market yesterday. Saumier, of street, checked in a three-pound rainbow trout. The prize was registered in the local contest.
Later, Perrino, of Gabriels., came in with a catch of four speckled trout weighing a total of five pounds, 10 ounces. The largest fish was two pounds, eight ounces and the catch ranged in length from 11 to 18 inches.
