Mountain Road, now "Mountain Lane", is a short, steep street that goes northwest from Old Military Road, climbing the lower slope of Mount Pisgah. In practice, it dead-ends on the hillside. On paper, it looks as if it were designed to connect to Cliff Road, but the middle section was never developed.
