Other information: According to the 1916 TB Directory, the Yorkey Cottage, run by Mrs. C. Yorkey, had room for four patients, and charged $10-12 per week.
The house was rehabilitated in early 2004 by Habitat for Humanity. See Adirondack Daily Enterprise, March 15, 2004: "Volunteers bond to redo home for Habitat." Also ADE February 28, 2007: "Vacant Habitat for Humanity house in Saranac Lake now up for sale."
[Harlander] was one who cured there.
