9 View Street was owned by Jabez and Mabel Brannock. They lived in the house and also operated it as a boarding house for the children of local tuberculosis patients from 1925 to 1938.
From 1948 to 1969 it was the home of Richard B. and Odile Connor. He was a painter, and she was a stenographer for Saranac Lake Hardware.
In 1957 it was the home of Helen Morehouse.
