Mountain Pond is a fourteen-acre pond on the south shoulder of Long Pond Mountain in the St. Regis Canoe Area. At 1670 feet it is said to be one of the highest sources of the Saranac River, along with nearby Ledge Pond. It can be reached via the hiking trail to the summit of the mountain. The trail head is located on the northeasternmost part of Long Pond.

Note: There is another Mountain Pond nine miles to the northeast on the Osgood River.
