SARANAC LAKE - Rene and Ruth (Lamy) Gendron recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Las Vegas, Nev., with their family, Bob, Cindy and Travis Gendron.
Mr. and Mrs. Gendron were married in St. Bernard's Catholic Church by the Rev. R. C. Kitts on May 24, 1947.
They resided in Saranac Lake, where Rene owned and operated Gendron Lumber until his retirement in 1979.
Currently they reside in Daytona Beach, Fla., and spend their summers in Saranac Lake.
