Alfred Richard Rock was a native of Bloomingdale.  He was a son of Henry Rock.

Alfred R. Rock passed away Wednesday evening in Newark, N.J. The remains are being sent to Saranac Lake, and an interment service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Cemetery, Bloomingdale, with the Rev. Cornelius McMahon officiating. Mr. Rock was born in Bloomingdale. He is survived by his wife, Anna K. Rock, of Newark, a son, Milton, of Lowell, Mass., a sister, Miss Lillian Rock of Bloomingdale.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday in Newark. Arrangements are in charge of the Fortune Funeral Home.
