A brick at the Saranac Laboratory has been dedicated in the name of Estherlea Cohen Eckmann by her children, Kenneth, Martha and Carol and David.

Children: Kenneth, Martha, Carol and David

Estherlea Cohen Eckmann, known as Lee, was from Canton, Ohio. She cured at the Trudeau Sanatorium starting in 1946. She met Bert, the love of her life, at Trudeau. A bright, talented lab assistant, Lee worked at Trudeau and spent early married life there. She is remembered for her dedication as a wife, mother, businesswoman and teacher.
