Stanley O. Tyler was a [War II veteran]. After returning from service to his country Stanley worked as a mechanic until 1959 when he took over as caretaker for his uncle Gordon Tyler at a great camp belonging to the Reid family on Upper St. Regis Lake. During these years he was also elected to Supervisor of the Town of Brighton. He held that position for ten years. Stanley remained as caretaker for Camp Wild Air until shortly before his death in 1991
