As a result of the merger of the General Ice Cream Co., and the Eastern Dairies Inc., both of which concerns distributed ice cream in Saranac Lake, a combination had been effected in the local management. Max Cohen, who had been manager of the Eastern Dairies here for some time, had taken over the Saranac Lake management of the combined organizations. Richard Elliott who had been local manager for the General Ice Cream Co. was being transferred to the Watertown plant.
