Benjamin Douglas Silliman Blagden was a son of Thomas Blagden, an early landowner in the Saranac Lakes region.
Benjamin was a member of the Church of the Ascension, where he was married in 1942. He had a camp, Camp Innisfree, near Saranac Inn, in 1955.
In 1956 he sold about 250 acres with 8,300 feet of lake frontage on the Narrows, Upper Saranac Lake, to surveyor [Turner], extending from [Point] northerly through the Narrows to the State land at [Point]. The area was to be developed for large hunting sites and waterfront camp lots.
In 1932 he built Land's End for [[2]] and [Du Pont Ross]

B. Bladgen Funeral Services Tomorrow
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock for Benjamin D. S. Blagden, who died Wednesday at the Saranac Lake General Hospital.
The services will be conducted by Dr. Robert Shaw in the Church of the Ascension, Saranac Inn.
Mr. Blagden, who made his home at Upper Saranac, was born in Washington, D.C., on January 12, 1892, the son of Thomas and Helen P. Rich Blagden. He was a veteran of World War I, and II, having served in the U. S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Farnum Packard.
Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home this evening from 7-10.
