Francis Moody was the son of Cortes Moody and the grandson of settler Jacob Smith Moody. He was a mason and an Adirondack Guide. He is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

Wedding Anniversary Of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moody

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moody of Saranac Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this week and were honored at a reception.

Mrs. Moody is the former Miss Sarah Keith, of Vermontville. and Mr. Moody is the son of Curtis and Elizabeth Moody of Saranac Lake, members of one of the oldest families in the community. The couple was married at Bloomingdale, Sept. 30, 1897.
