Joseph Reilly Campbell stayed in a private cottage at 10 Baker Street as a patient until entering Trudeau Sanatorium early in 1928. He was a mail clerk from Brooklyn, NY. He worked on the mail boat in Old Forge in 1930. His wife was Helen Josephine Campbell. They had three children, Alice, born 1928, Joseph Jr. born 1929 and James, born 1934. His son Joseph remembers visiting him in the mid-1930s in Saranac Lake.
He came home from Saranac Lake still ill with TB and died in 1943 in Glens Falls, NY.
