Nellie Southwell was a tuberculosis patient who came to Saranac Lake from Lima, Peru around 1943. She was here for four years, and was treated by Dr. Kinghorn. She stayed at 67 Park Avenue in 1943, and moved to 16 Helen Street in 1945. After curing, she returned home to Lima.
- A [Southwell], born in Lima Peru in 1914, seems a likely fit, but it is far from certain.
