Frank Knapp was a resident of Saranac Lake. He married Margaret C. Knapp. They had five children: Jack, Mae, Joseph, Donald and Dorothy. Frank Knapp worked as a builder and caretaker, working for some of the camps on the Lower Lake. Mr. Knapp built the Dreyfoos camp on Burnt Island on Lower Saranac Lake.
