McComb Street runs from Prospect Avenue southeast to Neil Street on French Hill; it originally ran down to Olive Street, though now the section after Neil Street is a dead end that serves as a driveway for a few houses.

It was likely originally named for Alexander Macomb, of Macomb's Purchase, but has been misspelled on at least one map since 1910.
