52 Petrova Avenue was the home of Snair Cohen of D. Cohen and Sons from 1939 to his death in 1966. Mr. Cohen's wife, Virginia "Ginny" Reid Cohen, had been the secretary in New York for Mr. Francis P. Garvan, owner of [Kill Kare] in Raquette Lake. He may have sponsored her stay in Saranac Lake to cure for tuberculosis.
