April 3, 1963

The Charlestan Record Shop was located at 3 Bloomingdale Avenue, the former site of the Hoffman Pharmacy. Pharmacist Howard Hoffman created it when he moved the Terminal Pharmacy to the Church Street Extension in 1961.
